Extraterrestrial life has never been this cuddly!
Leighton Meester’s dog Trudy channeled her inner E.T. in a photo the actress shared on Instagram on Tuesday.
“Alien dog gets a bath. No reaction,” Meester wrote with the pic of the longhaired dachshund sopping wet in a sink and seemingly unamused by the impromptu scrub.
If Trudy was lucky, that bath also included a special lullaby: Meester, 27, told PEOPLE in 2011 she has a special song she sings for her pooch.
“The only lyrics to it is, ‘Trudy, she’s a dog,’” the actress said. “It’s very melodic and she loves it. She knows it’s her song.”
