The actor, 39, spent the weekend partying in Miami with pal Jeff Beacher – and he Tweeted and posted photos of all the festivities.
The actor stayed at the Fontainebleau, where he hung out at LIV nightclub and Arkadia. On Friday, he took time out to get a tattoo of his grandfather on his right arm.
The next night, Arquette helped celebrate the two-year anniversary of LIV, where an onlooker says, “He was surrounded by women.”
Arquette then posted a selection of photos showing him having a blast and hanging out with friends. One shot shows him posing with a pink-bikini-clad brunette, while another depicts him “chillin” with some friends. And still another shows him dancing with some male pals, of which he Tweeted: “Enjoying a little gay dance [party].”
By Sunday, it appeared Arquette was running out of steam. Hanging out at Jimmie Johnson’s victory party at Arkadia, “He stayed to himself [and] looked like he had a rough weekend of partying,” says the onlooker.
According to a source, the actor’s behavior is, in part, fueled by his separation from Cox. “David’s hurt,” the source says. “He was dumped by his wife of 11 years. His answer to that is to go out and party and try to forget about everything and have fun.”
Perhaps thinking he was revealing too much, Arquette later insisted he’s just fine. “I know people think I’ve flipped my lid but I haven’t,” he Tweeted Saturday. “I’m cool. Listen to Bob Marley’s “Soul Rebel” you’ll know where I’m comin’ from.”
“She says that to me: ‘I don’t wanna be your mother anymore,’ ” Arquette said at the time. “I appreciated that. I respected that. I’ve been going to therapy. I’m trying to grow up.”
